Industrial Production Engineer (m/f)

Join the team working on a new greenfield project in Poland for a global technology and engineering company that builds critical infrastructure for IT, energy and thermal performance.

Currently, for one of our clients, we are looking for people to fill the position Industrial Production Engineer (m/f).

Twoje zadania

Your tasks:

• analyze and optimize the physical layout of the production floor to improve workflow, reduce material handling time, and enhance overall efficiency in the manufacturing of air-cooled heat exchangers,
• develop and implement strategies to streamline process flows, eliminating bottlenecks, and improving cycle times across all production stages,
• lead initiatives for continuous process improvement by evaluating and enhancing manufacturing operations through the application of lean principles and industry best practices as well as focus on optimizing production flow, equipment usage, and personnel efficiency,
• assess current production capacities and work with management to propose adjustments, equipment upgrades, or layout changes that accommodate future growth and demand fluctuations,
• collaborate with the design and R&D teams to ensure new product designs are manufacturable with optimized production layouts and minimal disruption to existing operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and manufacturability throughout the design process,
• identify and analyze issues related to production inefficiencies, work with cross-functional teams to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence,
• monitor and improve equipment layout, ensuring maximum utilization and efficiency, leading the planning and integration of new equipment, focusing on improving flow and minimizing downtime,
• create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to process flows, layouts, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other necessary guidelines to standardize operations,
• implement cost-saving initiatives related to the production layout, equipment uses, and material handling as well as focus on reducing waste while maintaining high product quality and performance.

Twoje kwalifikacje

Our requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus,
• 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing optimization, preferably in a production environment,
• strong knowledge of process layout optimization, workflow management, and production systems design,
• familiarity with CAD/CAM software and other engineering tools for layout and process flow design,
• experience with Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies,
• strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve inefficiencies.
